GoGreen is Delta Forum Society’s community-led sustainable-farming and clean-air initiative. We work with farmers, schools, youth, and local leaders in Haryana and the National Capital Region to promote soil health, climate resilience, and practical alternatives to crop-residue burning.
Farmers often face tight harvest schedules, costly machinery, limited labour, and restricted access to equipment. Our approach focuses on awareness, farmer engagement, local learning, and practical options such as mulching, straw incorporation, composting, fodder use, and improved access to residue-management machinery.
Our impact: GoGreen is active in 10 villages in the NCR. Delta Forum Society has engaged 500+ smallholder farmers in sustainable practices.
This work supports healthier soils, lower open burning, stronger community awareness, and long-term climate resilience. Crop-residue burning is one contributor to seasonal air pollution; lasting solutions must also be practical and fair for farmers.
