In rural communities across Haryana, many women possess incredible talent, resilience, and micro-entrepreneurial spirit. However, the lack of digital access and practical technical skills often limits their economic agency.
To bridge this gap, Delta Forum Society launched SheRise—a targeted grassroots initiative transforming mobile technology access into sustainable livelihoods, financial independence, and community leadership for rural women.
What is SheRise?
SheRise is a women’s empowerment project designed to provide actionable digital marketing and e-commerce training to women in underserved communities across the National Capital Region (NCR).
Having already trained 350+ women across 5 villages in the Rohtak and Jhajjar districts, SheRise equips first-time digital users with the tools required to launch home-based businesses, market local products, and access independent income streams.
Practical Skills for Real Economic Impact
The SheRise curriculum moves beyond basic digital literacy. We deliver practical, high-yield training focused on immediate application:
· Business Digitization: Setting up WhatsApp Business accounts, creating product catalogs, and managing digital orders.
· Content Creation & Social Media: Mastering basic graphic design, product photography, and localized online promotion on Facebook and Instagram.
· Digital Payments & Financial Security: Navigating UPI payments securely and avoiding online scams.
· Entrepreneurship & Linkages: Connecting with micro-finance options, self-help groups, and government schemes like Lakhpati Didi.
