At Delta Forum Society, we are proud to announce our institutional participation in the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), held from 17–22 May 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Convened under the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), this landmark global summit brought together over 57,000 delegates from 176 countries to address the global housing crisis and build resilient communities. Representing our roots in Haryana, India, Delta Forum Society engaged with international civil networks, youth organizations, and policymakers during the forum. Our focus centered on aligning our ongoing local projects—including digital literacy for girls, safe community advocacy against child labor, and community tree plantation drives—with the UN New Urban Agenda. Participating in specialized sessions at the Baku Olympic Stadium highlighted the urgent need for local NGOs to bridge the gap between global policy and grassroots implementation. As we look forward to integrating these valuable cross-border insights into our upcoming community tracks under India’s BRICS 2026 Chairship, we invite our partners, donors, and supporters to view our updated goals.
